Black Patent Knee-High Boots

Un-doubtedly, our fave trend of this season has been black patent. It can dress up any outfit instantly and gives that fresh fashion look that plain leather sometimes cannot acheive. Our fave celeb Rihanna has teamed her black patent knee-high boots with a yellow and black checked 'mac' style jacket with a black patent waist belt. We love her bright cheerful outfit.

These 'Christian' boots are a slim fit, similar to Rihanna's boots. They are black patent and have two large silver buckles, with a strap attatched for a 'belt' effect. They have a nice grippy sole and a chunky high heel. They look best with very skinny dark coloured jeans, eg dark denim, black or grey , black leggings and also look great when worn with winter dresses. The great thing about this boot is they are a sturdy shape so good for day wear and they easily dress up jeans as they're a nice shiny patent!

We're also loving black patent flats, like these 'Ballet' flats look best worn with skirts and patterned tights. 

We're set to see lots of coloured patents this summer in all our favourite styles of summer sandals and flip flops and to be honest we can't wait! We advise going colour crazy as soon as the weather warms up and painting toenails multi-coloured..why not, we don't see that much sun in UK, so we may as well make the most of the summer trends as soon as the sun comes out!
