The roman gladiator sandal first graced catwalks of Balenciaga and Givenchy back in 2006. After a brief appearance in 2007 and a major trend in 2008, this summer they're back and we can't wait!

This summer 2009 season we have lots more gladiator sandals arriving online with patent crocodile gladiators, rainbow coloured gladiator sandals, kitten heeled coloured patent gladiator sandals and more styles in the classic flat gladiator to come...

We're getting excited about the coming Spring Summer 09 season..and most of all we're excited about gladiator sandals in particular. Like our fabulous style icon Kate Moss (see right) ..we love this tan colour gladiator sandal with a simple, pretty white linen dress. The gladiator sandal can also look good with linen trousers or skinny denim jeans for an in-between-season trendy look. We love coloured gladiators and patent gladiators, like our 'Julius' patent gladiator sandal, which comes in red patent, black patent and stone patent. Or these Moda in Pelle italian leather 'Octopus' sandals which are a champagne coloured leather with gold buckles. Both of these gladiator styles have adjustable straps for comfort and good fit. The Julius sandal in black patent is a dressy day version that could also be worn on hot summer days with smart black fitted dresses or skirts.
